EWC College Credit is available for WHS Juniors and Seniors who are eligible: Listed below are the WHS classes available for EWC college credit: To qualify students must be in the 11th & 12th grade at Wheatland  High School and have a  3.0 GPA or higher. 

ACCT. 1050 & 1060:  Must take both semesters to transfer and be a junior or senior.2 credit hours ea. semester of school yr.
  * cannot receive EWC accounting credit if taken as a sophomore     Must take both 1050 & 1060 to transfer

FREN. 1010 & 1020:   Must be a 3rd/4th year Spanish Student to  receive EWC credit
        *3rd year students (Juniors) will take Span. 1010 for full year and-     *Span 1020 for full year as a senior.

SPAN. 1010 & 1020:   Must be a 3rd/4th year Spanish Student to  receive EWC credit      4 credit hours ea.semester/school yr.
*3rd year students (Juniors) will take Span. 1010 for full year and-     *Span 1020 for full year as a senior.


BIOL. 1010:Must be a Junior or Senior to receive EWC credit     4 credit hours for the full school year

CMAP 1850:WHS Yearbook:  Pagemaker   3 credit hours
CMAP 1900:Integrated Apllications:  Microsoft Office  2 credit hours

CHEM 1020:General Chemistry 1:      4 credit hours  for the full school year
  Compass Placement Test required or Math ACT of 23 or higher
CO/M 2100: Reporting & Newswriting:  WHS Bulldog Bark  3 credit hours

POLS 1000:American & Wyoming Government (may not transfer out of state)    3 credit hours
POLS 1200:Non Western Political Cultures:  WHS World Problems   3 credit hours

PSYC 1000:General Psychology 4 credit hours for the full school year

SOC 1000:  Sociological Principles    3 credit hours

WELD 1700:General Welding      3 credit hours

ZOO 2015:  Anatomy:  EWC gives credit for Anatomy ONLY NOT Physiology4 credit hours
   This class can be used as a lab science requirement









AVAILABLE AT OUR OUTREACH SITE:  WORK KEYS AND KEY TRAINING:
Assessment testing for workforce readiness in applied math, applied technology, locating information and reading information. The Work Key Exam is a job skills assessment tool designed by ACT to measure
"Real World" skills that employers believe are crucial to job success in the workforce.



We recommend that you take EWC Math and Chemistry as a senior because of the ACT or COMPASS placement test
Take Span 1010 & 1020 or Fren 1010 & 1020 to receive the full year of a college foreign language requirement.
You do not need both math 1000 and 1400 for a degree area:  Check the degree area you will be entering to see the math requirement.
